As the Indian Armed Forces made precision strikes inside Pakistan under 'Operation Sindoor', attacking nine terrorist launchpads, representatives of the country's film fraternity turned to Twitter and other social media platforms in a show of solidarity, pride, and appreciation for the defence forces of the nation. Operation Sindoor, carried out between early Wednesday, was launched after 14 days of the militant terror attack inside Baisaran, a noted tourist destination, in Pahalgam Jammu & Kashmir. The violent attack killed 26 individuals and was said to be traced to terror infrastructure in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The Indian retaliation avoiding civilian or Pakistani military targets hit principal terror bases in Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad, long suspected of hosting Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) operatives. In a surge of nationalist sentiment, leading actors and directors responded with vehemence to the operation.
