Elon Musk Trolled During Starlink 'Path of Exile 2' Jet Livestream

Elon Musk's attempt to showcase the capabilities of Starlink satellite internet by streaming the game Path of Exile 2 from a private jet turned into an unexpected online fiasco. Instead of highlighting the service's ability to support real-time gaming at 30,000 feet, the session devolved into nearly two hours of relentless trolling and cyber bullying directed at the SpaceX CEO.

As Musk broadcasted the gameplay, viewers quickly took over the in-game chat, inundating it with personal insults. Comments such as, “You ruined the country just like you ruined all your marriages,” and “You have no real friends and will die alone,” appeared almost immediately. Throughout the stream, Musk remained mostly quiet, occasionally dying in the game due to its hardcore (perma-death) setting. At one point, he acknowledged the negativity, saying, “There’s a lot of r*tards in the chat,” but he did not take steps to mute the messages or hide the chat feed, despite viewers suggesting he do so.

The situation became even more uncomfortable when a user, claiming to be conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, posted, “Please pay your child support. Thank you, Elon,” referencing an ongoing custody dispute. The trolling continued, with others criticizing his political affiliations, accusing him of supporting Donald Trump’s administration, and mocking his parenting and gaming skills.

The stream concluded when Musk's final character, named Kekius Maximus—a nod to a popular meme—was defeated by a tutorial boss, reportedly due to a “bad connection.” Musk's already questionable reputation as a gamer took another hit recently when his estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, appeared on Hasan Piker’s Twitch stream, calling him a “f**king dogsh*t” Overwatch player who needed help from his 12-year-old kids to improve his ranking. She added, “This is so cringe. Why would you even pretend to be? It’s fine not to be a gamer.”
