Ever since her number ‘Rangeela Re’, viewers have loved Urmila’s dancing skills. She is often referred as the Rangeela girl of Bollywood. Although she maintained her presence in Bollywood since 80s but Urmila grabbed the viewer’s attention after her hit dance song Rangeela which was paired with Jackie Shroff and Aamir Khan.

She created magic with her dance numbers that include Mehbooba, Chamma Chamma, Kambakht Ishq, ‘Tandoori Nights’ and lot more and proved her dancing potential with  Rangeela, Daud, and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. Also, she had shaken her legs in classical numbers too. The song ‘Sabki baaratein aayi’ is the classical number from the movie ‘Jaanam Samjha Karo’ paired opposite Salman Khan.

Urmila’s graceful dancing skill wooed even choreographers like Saroj Khan. According to Khan, 'You only have to show her the step once. Urmila is that quick. I haven't many other actresses besides Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi who are so fast on the uptake, as far as dance is concerned. Rhythm is in her blood,' reports Rediff.com.
