BENGALURU: The year 2014 entertained us with some of the most hit Hollywood movies. The khans of Bollywood, Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir along with other actors like Hrithik, Shahid and Deepika seem to rule the kingdom of Indian Cinema. Here is a look back through the year’s blockbuster movies, as reported by NDTv movies.

Rajkumar Hirani’s PK was the most awaited movie and has won the hearts of the audience not only in India but also globally. Aamir Khan’s infamous transistor clad poster raised a wave of curiosity among the people. Its light hearted humour and mockery of religious barriers prevailing in the society that touched everyone’s heart. With all colour and quirkiness PK is set to give 2014 the loudest bang possible. Only in four days it earned upto 100 Crores. Aamir Khan’s co-actor Anushka Sharma is overwhelmed with the response.

Based on the famous novel of Chetan Bhagat, this movie covers the life of two persons in love,who belong to the opposite edge of the country and at the end bridge the gap between two different cultures.The Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starrer movie beautifully showcases the diversities of both Punjabi and Tamil Culture along with its peppy songs. With a budget of 45 Crores, Two States was released on 2000 screens in all over India and earned more than 100 Crores.
