Based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, Chhapaak stars Deepika Padukone as an acid attack survivor, alongside Vikrant Massey. Remarkably, it is Deepika’s first production venture and she announced the film on 24th December on her Twitter account. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak’s music is done by Shankaar-Ehsaan-Loy while lyrics are written by Gulzar.
