An Ashutosh Gowariker film that stars Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, Panipat is an action-drama that entails the events that led to the Third Battle of Panipat. Set in 1761, when the Maratha Empire established their power and with no one to challenge them for the Hindustan Throne. The king of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah with his force is set to battle the Maratha Army to take the Hindustan throne. The movie is produced by Sunita Gowariker under the banner of AGPPL along with Rohit Shelatkar’s company Vision World.
