B-Town Directors Whose Debut Films Crossed 100 Crore Mark

Arbaaz Khan is an Indian actor, and film producer, known for his work in Hindi cinema. Khan made his directorial debut with the 2012 released sequel Dabangg 2. The film crossed over 270 crores breaking many records.

Earlier in 2010, Khan entered into film production, with his home production, “Arbaaz Khan Productions” and his first film as a producer was Dabangg featuring his brother Salman Khan in lead role.

Khan made his debut in the 1996 film Daraar in a villainous role of a psychotic wife-beater. He received the Filmfare Best Villain Award for his performance.

Siddique is an Indian film director and screenwriter who mainly work in Malayalam cinema.  He started his career as an assistant director to Fazil. Bodyguard is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name that was also directed by Siddique. Bodyguard earned more than 142 crore at the box office.

His film Bodyguard in Malayalam has been remade into Tamil as ‘Kaavalan’ by Siddique himself, all three versions received tremendous response at the box-office.
