Acting on Stage as Tough as Childbirth: Julia Roberts

Los Angeles : Oscar winning actress Julia Roberts compares acting on stage to giving birth to a child, but at the same time she admits one can't stay away from it. The 44-year-old, who made her Broadway debut in 2006 with "Three Days of Rain" and is planning to return to the stage, says performing live isn't easy. "Stage acting is like childbirth, you don't know until you've done it, but you get a little bit away from it and you go, 'Of course I want to do that again'," showbizspy.com quoted Roberts as saying. "You get sucked back into doing theatre because it's really thrilling and does challenge you as an actor in really unique ways. You know, I love the medium of film, I love that environment but it's just different," she added.
