Bangalore: The success of a flicker depends on various factors including the protagonist, advertisement and publicity; the director of the film matters too. However having all these elements in the right proportion can never ensure the success of a movie. A retrospective on the films that did not score high in the box office tells us that the hype that the movie makes has no correlation with its success. #1 Jai Ho



In spite of the publicity that‘s given to the Salman Khan starring movies, Jai Ho failed to gather enough steam as expected. Even though the movie made it to the 100 crore club, the response to the film was luke warm. The actor himself was promoting his movie in all possible ways. The average performance of Jai Ho leaves us a question whether the super star is losing his fan base.
