Bangalore: “The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called truth” as said by Dan Rather.  It is true, an amazing teacher can motivate you and help you attain the heights whereas a wrong teacher can de-motivate as well as play a spoiler to the growth of a child.

September 5th in India is celebrated as Teacher’s Day in honor and remembrance of our second President Late Dr. RadhaKrishanan’s birthday. Along with being a great leader he was an amazing teacher as well. He was renowned Professor of Religion at Oxford University and he also has several book titles to his credit.

As Teacher’s Day is around the corner, let’s have a look at all those movies which come under the category of must watch teacher movies.

1. Taare Zameen Par (2007)

Star Cast: Amir Khan, Darsheel Safary

One of the best teacher movies ever made in the Indian Film Industry. The movie deals with the sensitive subject of a dyslexic child Ishaan who his parents and teachers avoid like an outcast because they think that he is being defiant and a brat, which in reality he isn’t and because he is always treated like an dumb child in order to rebel he becomes a naughtier child.

Fed up of his behaviors his parents leave him in a hostel where he meets his savior, Nikumbh Sir (Amir Khan) who also suffers from dyslexia and he recognizes the problem and helps Ishaan out of the mess he is in.

The movie is best watched for the teacher-student chemistry that has been captured perfectly.
