Terminator 2: Judgment Day

With the success of Terminator, the first in the series the second movie screened in lots of action for the audience to enjoy. Especially the Helicopter chase, the scene was so dangerous that the cameraman refused to shoot it; instead Spielberg himself had taken the job.

The crew had to lay out ten miles of electric cables to light the scenes and the helicopter crash that we so much enjoyed took three takes to complete. The scene took place under the overpass on the Los Angeles-Long Beach Terminal Island Freeway, under which the helicopter actually flew. The movie’s budget was record breaking and $51 million of the budget went in for the stunts.
