Zomato Looks For A Wider Platter, Plans to Reach 22 Countries Over Next 2 Years


Bangalore: The five year old restaurant guide is on the expansion mode, Zomato which offers services through their website and mobile app is now currently looking to diversify their reach from just cities to countries, reports the Economic Times.

Co-founder and COO Pankaj Chaddah exclaimed that, we’ve been following through with our global expansion plans aggressively. Over the next two years he has planned to take his product across Americas, Europe, South East Asia, and Australia,

Zomato also plans to strategize its funding and use it for setting up offices across 22 countries, hiring people and teams separately. It is currently present in 40 cities, across 11 countries. The cities include four in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, and Porto Alegre and Hamilton in New Zealand.
The website which is available in different languages like Turkish, Portuguese and Bahasa, apart from English, also caters people on the website to search for places to go out for a brunch, get home deliveries, and catch up at the cafes.
