Why Enterprises Avoid Private Cloud?

Bangalore: Private Cloud is a term used for companies that install a cloud service for their own and hence, do not rely on other cloud vendors for their services. In the recent years, with the advent of cloud computing, the number of public as well as private cloud vendors has increased steeply.

Though, enterprises refuse to install private clouds sighting reasons listed below:

1. Cloud and Virtualization Mix-up:

There is a wide misconception among enterprises that cloud is just a new synonym for virtualization. They need to understand that it is true that virtualization and cloud are co-dependent on each other but they are two completely different technologies. This will help them in defining their objectives in a better way.

2. Unrealistic Expectations:

They hype surrounding simplicity that cloud brings make everyone think that deploying cloud would be simpler. This is not the case as implementing cloud takes a lot of time and in order to achieve desired results, it can take some time before the benefits are visible.
