Ahmedabad: TestingWhiz, a Test Automation Solution for web and cloud applications has announced the availability of its version 3.0 early May 2013. It is the 3^rd roll out in less than a year and v3.0 claims more features and enhancements along with a better UI.

Version 3.0 comes in two editions- PRO and Enterprise. PRO is for single users while Enterprise supports a large and distributed team of testers.

Pro edition of TestingWhiz features FAST Automation Engine that helps automate test cases with 5 recording techniques across multiple browsers. It also comes with Object Recorder to record and store web-objects along with an ability to use 90+readily available test commands. It features integration with Excel and leading bug tracking tools like Mantis and Fogbugz. Moreover, the Pro version has inbuilt Scheduler to schedule tests at pre-defined intervals and supports multiple languages to help customize the UI, scripts and reports in the language of tester’s choice.

The Enterprise version TestingWhiz 3.0 has all the features of the PRO editionand in addition it provides integration with HP Quality Center that help testers in managing test cases, results and existing QC process for any tests from a single interface. The Enterprise version also allows Database Testing with connectors for Oracle, MSSQL, My SQL, etc. along with a facility to fetch database to placeholder and export the same to Excel or CSV. Moreover, it features WhizGrid that facilitate testers to execute test cases on multiple nodes from a single centralized server. Besides these, it packs in features like Visual Presentation for presenting test cases as flowcharts and also integration with Atlassian JIRA.

PRO is available at just $99 per year per user which includes basic email support. Enterprise is available at $899 per year that comes with premium support and 8 hours of Whiz consulting – an expert service to assist in automation projects.
