Bangalore: SAP labs kicked off ‘TechEd’, a three day annual three day conference in Bangalore. The event witnessed participation from over 7500 technology enthusiasts keen to dive deep to understand  SAP solutions and offerings; eco-system and partner network.

SAP TechEd is one of the premier technical conferences in India, offering over 450 hours of knowledge sessions on SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, analytics, and mobile platforms. Over 200 technology sessions including lectures and hand’s on demos are planned.

In his keynote address, Bjorn Goerke, executive vice-president and corporate officer, Technology & Innovation Platform Core, SAP AG, said that SAP's core technology platform is on a revolution as HANA offers unprecedented business opportunities, cloud for better agility and developer experience, and mobility for great end-user experience.

Goerke also mentioned that the SAP NetWeaver is their biggest implementation ever as it has crossed of over more than 20 million users across the enterprise portal.

He wrapped up his address by emphasizing on design and user experience within a next generation real-time platform.

On Thursday and Friday, two “demo theaters” will be continuously be showcasing a thirty minute demo on new applications and features in topics like SAP HANA; Mobile; Business Suite among others.

In its 16 years of existence, SAP TechEd is one of the longest running technology and business process conference series. The three day event provides significant learning, networking and partnership opportunities.
