Infosys Launches a Self Service Cloud Hub


Bangalore: Infosys has unveiled its plans of starting an array of services and technologies that can provide assistance to companies in cloud platform.

According to Vishnu Bhat, Infosys vice president and global head for cloud, partitioning of efforts throughout technology and cloud platform is considered to be a key issue for customerization. With that concern in mind, Infosys now have decided to provide cloud customers assistance on various business applications, levels and other related technologies.

Also Infosys has revealed plans of assisting customers that works on a particular cloud that is both-private and public.

But it is clear that Indian outsourcing companies plays a very limited role in global cloud computing. Sudin Apte, principal analyst and CEO of Offshore Insights says that the first and foremost issue for Indian companies is that they neither do have the infrastructure nor the application experience to re-known themselves as a major integrator in cloud infrastructure.

According to Infosys, the self service cloud hub is all set to provide help to customers and organizations, to build relationships with major players in cloud platform, including companies like Amazon Web Services, CA Technologies, Dell, Hitachi Data Systems, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microsoft and VMware.
