Cyanogenmod Android Founder, Steve Kondik Quits Samsung

Bangalore: Steve Kondik, the man behind the most popular Android alternative ROM, CyanogenMod, has called quits on his stint at Samsung, reveals one of his recent Google+ posts. Kondik also revealed his experience working on the final hardware of Samsung Galaxy S4, according to gadgets.ndtv.

Actually the post was in response to a question asking about speculations of Kondik leaving Samsung. Kondik, in his reply, revealed that he has left the company, 'but not because of anything in particular' and that 'Samsung was great'. The post clearly shed light on Kondik’s intentions to do something new.

Since joining Samsung as a software engineer in August 2011, Kondik’s contributions at Samsung is largely unknown. Maybe it’s because he’s not allowed to or he himself is unwilling to talk about them.
