#2. Have a little faith:

Faith or trust is another important factor that CIOs and CFOs should deal with. Because if you can’t trust your CIOs for small matters then how can you entrust them with bigger projects. Now if the CIOs and CFOs continuously brush their shoulders, one instance after another, then it’s clear that you are being diverted from strategic issues and your organization is suffering from it.

A CIO in the hospitality business says that “If a technology investment can’t show an immediate ROI, he zones out. But it’s my job to make sure that we’re spending the right IT dollars on the right things. If he doesn’t understand the complexities of IT processes, he has to trust that I do.”
