Procter & Gamble: Recently, the Vice President Global Sales at Procter & Gamble, Geraldine Huse was nominated for the Champion Award category at the Opportunity Now Excellence in Practice Awards for her commitment to create an inclusive workplace. The multinational consumer goods company has 38 percent women in the work place. They occupy 34 percent of senior management positions and constitute 31 percent of the corporate executives. The board of directors has 45 percent female directors.

State Farm: The insurance and financial service provider has a around 63,819 strong work force and 59 percent of them are women. Female employees occupy 40 percent of the senior management positions and 34 percent of corporate executives come from the fairer sex. Among the top 10 percent earners, 34 percent are women. 36 percent of profit and loss executives are women. Women head 38 percent of billion dollar divisions in the company. Women employees constitute 22 percent of those who report directly to the CEO.

Verizon Communications: The American telecommunication company has formed Employee Resource Groups through which it tries to create a diverse work force. The company employs around 172,578 people, 38 percent of them are women. Women occupy 31 percent of senior management positions and 29 percent corporate executives are women. Women constitute 32 percent of top 10 percent earners. Women head 23 percent of billion dollar divisions. The board of directors of the company has 33 percent women directors.
