Qualcomm and Croma Launch India's First Snapdragon Experience Zone
Qualcomm has announced the launch of its first-ever Snapdragon Experience Zone in India, in collaboration with Croma, a leading consumer electronics retail chain. The inaugural zone is located at Croma Store in Juhu, Mumbai, and is part of Qualcomm's strategy to establish multiple Experience Zones across the country.
The Snapdragon Experience Zone offers visitors a hands-on opportunity to explore devices powered by Snapdragon system-on-chips (SoCs), including smartphones, PCs, wearables, and audio products. Trained staff are available to demonstrate the capabilities of Qualcomm processors, especially their on-device artificial intelligence (AI) features. Customers can test devices, experience AI-driven functionalities, and receive expert guidance on Snapdragon-powered products.
Commenting on the launch, Savi Soin, President of Qualcomm India, said, “This initiative allows customers to experience the transformative power of on-device AI, showcasing the cutting-edge capabilities of the Snapdragon ecosystem”.
Although the company has confirmed plans to open more Experience Zones across India, specific locations have not yet been disclosed. This announcement aligns with the imminent launch of Snapdragon X CPUs in partnership with Asus at an event in New Delhi.
The Snapdragon X platform is expected to bring AI-powered capabilities to affordable laptops, with prices starting under $600 (approximately
