Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with a delegation from Keizai Doyukai, the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, led by Chairperson Takeshi Niinami. The meeting, held at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi, focused on enhancing economic cooperation between India and Japan. PM Modi shared insights on the strong India-Japan partnership and discussed ways to bolster bilateral trade and investment across various sectors, including agriculture, technology, clean energy, and defense.

The Prime Minister emphasized India's commitment to creating a business-friendly environment, highlighting the Japan Plus initiative designed to expedite Japanese investments in India. He reassured investors of a transparent and predictable governance framework, aiming to eliminate any uncertainties.

During the discussion, PM Modi noted the rapid growth of India's aviation sector and ongoing infrastructure projects, including new airports and logistics enhancements. He also pointed out India's advancements in green energy and biofuels, particularly their potential benefits for agriculture.

The delegation expressed enthusiasm for collaboration in human resource development and skill enhancement, recognizing the complementary strengths of both nations. Niinami praised the thriving India-Japan relations under PM Modi's leadership, while Tanakaa Shigehiro from NEC Corporation acknowledged the clarity of the Prime Minister's vision for Japanese investment in India. Both sides expressed optimism for future partnerships, aiming to strengthen business and investment ties in the coming years, aligned with the vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047.'
