Ooredoo Qatar, Tech Mahindra Partner to Boost Cybersecurity Solutions

Ooredoo Qatar, a leading telecom and ICT provider in the region, has developed a strategic partnership with Tech Mahindra, a global leader in information technology consulting and digital solutions services. The partnership leads to Ooredoo enhancing its MSS by offering advanced cybersecurity solutions to B2B customers.

The signing took place during a ceremony with key executives of both companies in attendance, notably Thani Ali Al Malki, Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, along with Atul Soneja, Chief Operating Officer at Tech Mahindra, and Ram Ramachandran, Senior Vice President for India, Middle East, and Africa Business at Tech Mahindra.

Since April 2024, Tech Mahindra took the MSS platform management of Ooredoo. This alliance has proven to be an effective and fruitful one for it already assumed an appropriate role in this era where cybersecurity is required by business customers of Ooredoo. Tech Mahindra collaborates actively with various telecom firms in an attempt at innovation and digital transformation. The corporation is engaged with global telecom leaders, who ensure the development of their 5G labs, applications, devices, and ecosystems.

Recently, Tech Mahindra had teamed up with Microsoft in January to modernise cloud-powered 5G core networks for telecom operators worldwide. This year, in March 2022, the company had sealed a strategic partnership with Bharti Airtel to create and promote advanced solutions for India's digital economy.
