Akash Ambani

Akash don’t need an introduction as his surname does the honor. The eldest son of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani was born in October 1991. He completed his schooling from Dhirubhai Ambani International School, and graduated in Economics from the Brown University, United States of America. Akash ventured into his father’s Reliance Jio Infocomm as the Chief of Stratergy and contributed in building the network architecture and developed various applications such as JioTV, JioCinema, JioChat and more. It was his idea, to charge only for the data which made Jio stand unique among its competitors.

Recently, he married his sweetheart Shloka Mehta, daughter of India’s richest diamond producer Russell Mehta.  Collecting sports souvenirs, playing cricket, watching documentaries, photography and sailing are his favorite hobbies.
