Microsoft Showcases Strong Business Growth with LinkedIn Surge and AI Expansion

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, has announced major milestones across the company’s platforms, highlighting how AI is driving growth and innovation. In his Annual Letter 2025, Nadella revealed that LinkedIn has grown to 1.2 billion global members, thanks to deep integration of AI into its hiring, learning, and sales tools.
Microsoft’s overall ecosystem continues to expand. The company now has 500 million monthly active users across its gaming platforms, reinforcing its influence in both the professional and consumer tech spaces.
Financially, Microsoft is breaking records. In its latest fiscal year, revenue hit $281.7 billion, up 15%, while its cloud arm, Azure, reached a major milestone of $75 billion in annual revenue for the first time.
AI remains central to Microsoft’s future. Nadella said the Copilot family of AI tools now supports over 100 million monthly users. Products like Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot are helping professionals and developers work smarter, with new features like Agent Mode simplifying complex tasks through conversational prompts.
On the consumer front, Copilot is now integrated across Bing, Edge, Windows, Xbox, and GroupMe, creating a more seamless AI-powered experience. Microsoft has also refreshed its Copilot app, making it more conversational and personal.
