MG Motor India Partners with Vertelo for 3,000 EV Deliveries

MG Motor India has entered into a significant agreement with Vertelo, an integrated fleet electrification platform, to deliver 3,000 electric vehicles (EVs) gradually. The pact, marked by a memorandum of understanding between the two entities, underscores a mutual commitment to advancing sustainable mobility solutions in the country.
In a statement, MG Motor India emphasized the partnership's focus on providing eco-friendly transportation options to riders while concurrently working towards bolstering the EV charging infrastructure nationwide. Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer at MG Motor India, highlighted the shared vision for a green and sustainable future, expressing confidence that the collaboration would contribute to expediting EV adoption in India.
Vertelo, backed by Macquarie Asset Management and receiving substantial investment from the Green Climate Fund, functions as a fleet electrification platform offering comprehensive solutions to operators and corporates. Sandeep Gambhir, CEO of Vertelo, hailed the partnership as the commencement of an exciting journey toward fleet electrification and achieving net-zero emissions.
With MG Motor India's forthcoming lineup of electric vehicles and Vertelo's integrated electrification solutions tailored for fleet operators and corporates, the collaboration is poised to accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable transportation ecosystem.
