Meesho reorganizes its executive team as CXO for new business ventures
Meesho, a SoftBank-backed value commerce platform, is going through a leadership reorganization as Utkrishta Kumar, its CXO for Business, departs the organization to start his own business after a successful five-year term. The corporation expressed its gratitude for Kumar's important contribution to the development and success of Meesho's business. Kumar's position will be replaced by Megha Agarwal, who currently works as Meesho's CXO for Growth. Nilesh Gupta, who is currently in the position of Senior Director for Growth, will also receive a promotion to General Manager for Growth at the same time.
A Meesho representative expressed their company's best wishes for Utkrishta Kumar's business path, saying, We would like to offer our deepest gratitude to Utkrishta Kumar, who chose to move on to follow his entrepreneurship dream after a successful five-year career with Meesho. He has contributed significantly to the growth of Meesho's business and to our success over the years. "We welcome Megha Agarwal as CXO Business and Nilesh Gupta as GM User Growth. We give our best wishes for his future endeavors. We will keep working to democratize online commerce for everyone under the direction of a solid leadership team". 
Meesho started up as a social commerce network before changing to a marketplace e-commerce strategy that targets budget-conscious customers. With 1.6 lakh new app installs during its most recent festive season sale, the platform recorded substantial growth. The SoftBank-backed company revealed its profitability at a consolidated level in July in August. This was made possible by lower marketing costs and optimized staff cost structures.
