India-Japan Business Meet Opens New Growth Pathways through PCC&I Launch

The India-Japan Business Meet 2025, held in Pune, marked the official launch of the Progressive Council of Commerce & Industry (PCC&I) and Lord Buddha Finance Ltd. (LBFL), setting the stage for deeper economic collaboration between the two nations. The event highlighted new avenues for young entrepreneurs by integrating India’s resources with Japan’s advanced but lesser-known technologies.
Tokyo-based entrepreneur Dr. Pramod Vahane, CEO of Vahanez Ltd., said the partnership aims to help Indian entrepreneurs understand Japan’s industrial discipline, management systems, and innovation culture. He emphasized that this collaboration will help startups and small businesses build globally competitive ventures.
Special guest N. Dowaki, CEO of Green Renewable Energy Inc., stressed the rising global demand for eco-friendly technologies. He pointed out that green hydrogen is set to play a major role in the future of sustainable energy and noted that India and Japan are already working together on technologies that convert waste into hydrogen.

PCC&I President and LBFL Managing Director Dr. Bhagwan Gawai said the council’s mission is to support and uplift emerging business owners across India. He shared that PCC&I has conducted a 45 day Economic Empowerment Campaign across 45 districts in 10 states to identify key challenges faced by entrepreneurs. The council will now focus on offering access to technology, financing, mentorship, and innovation—especially in semi-urban and rural areas.
PCC&I Women’s Wing Director Vishakha Gaikwad said the meet marks the start of long-term mentorship, helping young entrepreneurs connect with global markets and credible investors. The event was anchored by Prof. Deepak Bagde and Dr. Vijay Kadam, with Gaikwad delivering the vote of thanks.
