Bangalore: All Indian business leaders were not born with a silver spoon in their mouth. The one who chose to become an heir of an established business empire, made sure to equip themselves academically to take up all the hurdles and challenges in future. Listed are the educational qualifications of top Indian business leaders.

Ratan Tata

The Chairman of Tata Groups, Ratan Tata started his schooling at Campion School and finished at Cathedral and John Connon School both in Bombay. He completed his B.S. in architecture with structural engineering from Cornell University in 1962, and the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School in 1975. He is a part of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity.

Chanda Kochhar

Chanda Kochhar is currently the Managing Director (MD) of ICICI Bank and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She completed her schooling from St. Angela Sophia School, Jaipur. She then moved to Mumbai, where she joined Jai Hind College for a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduating in 1982 she then pursued Cost Accountancy ICWAI. Later, she acquired the Masters Degree in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. She received the Wockhardt Gold Medal for Excellence in Management Studies as well as the J. N. Bose Gold Medal in Cost Accountancy for highest marks in the same year.
