HappyEasyGo Raises 350 Crore in Series B+ Financing

The online travel platform, HappyEasyGo, announces the completion of its Series B+ financing. In this financing, the company has raised around 350 crore from its investment partners. The investment partners of the company include Korea Investment Partners (KIP), UOB Ventures, Samsung Venture Investment Corporation (SVIC), CVCapital, 10 Fund, Zero2IPOventures and M&S Partners.

With the urge to become a top online travel platform in India, the company has strategized to utilize the fresh funding to fortify its air ticket business and further develop the hotel division in India. At present, the company's air ticket business ranks second in the industry, with the user base reaching more than 10 million. The company implements a strategy to maintain the lowest price to build up the ascendancy in high-speed growth of the air ticket business. Furthermore, it also plans to accelerate the hotel's verticals by implementing localization strategy.        

The company has also partnered with several renowned brands like VIVO, Transsion, Samsung, Airtel Payment Bank, Oman Air, OLAMoney and Mobiwik to bring massive savings for globetrotters. Also, the company is looking forward to reach out to a wider user base, at the same time it intends to cut down the overall cost of the customer acquisition. Besides, HappyEasyGo has also launched a multi-level loyalty program, to reward the travelers with various benefits such as lounge service, exclusive OLA coupons, priority customer support, healthcare benefits and many more. The company uses its price optimization engine to find the lowest point of real-time price in the market. Thus, offers the lowest price among the entire industry to its customers.
