GPX Global System Inaugurates its Second Data Centre in Mumbai

GPX Global Systems, the provider of carrier-neutral Edge data centre services in Africa and South Asia, announces the official opening of the company's second data centre in Mumbai. This would enhance the company's total equipped space in the Mumbai metro to 105,000 sq ft.

GPX has evolved to be one of the leading high-availability, carrier-neutral Edge data centre provider in India. GPX's first Mumbai data centre hosts 12 telcos, more than 120 ISPs, eight cloud service providers, four internet exchanges, global CDNs and content providers (OTTs). Also, the data centre has created an unrivalled Internet and cloud ecosystem. The second data centre inaugural in Mumbai will further expand this ecosystem, by utilizing the latest technologies. With the intention to enhance the proven design, electrical and mechanical architecture of the first data centre in Mumbai. 

The Mumbai's second data centre is a standalone, next-generation, tier4 certified facility. It supports 16MW of power. Besides, the second data centre provides support for high power density applications, 52U cabinets, rich interconnectivity, and power system efficiency. The GPX's first and second Mumbai data centres are interconnected with GPX's Data Center Interconnect network. Furthermore, the data centres offer secured and reliable 1G, 10G, and 100G services.
