The ninth Global Technology Summit (GTS) is set to commence with an address by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Friday, followed later in the day by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. This summit, which is India's premier dialogue on geo-technology, is co-hosted by Carnegie India and the Ministry of External Affairs. It brings together leaders from various sectors, including government, industry, academia, and civil society, with the goal of influencing global technology policy discussions. The focus will be on innovation, resilience, and international collaboration.

Scheduled from April 10 to 12, this year's GTS will delve into how emerging technologies can foster inclusive growth, enhance digital governance, and strengthen cross-border partnerships. The theme for the summit is "Sambhavna," which translates to "possibilities."

GTS-2025 will feature over 40 public sessions, encompassing keynote speeches, ministerial dialogues, expert panels, and strategic discussions. More than 150 speakers from over 40 countries—including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, UAE, Nigeria, the Philippines, and the European Union—will participate in conversations addressing the most urgent technological challenges and opportunities facing the global community today. This summit promises to be a significant platform for shaping the future of technology policy and fostering international cooperation in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
