Jaipur-based Dynamic Cables Limited reported a notable decline in its financial performance for the first quarter of FY26. The company's net profit fell by 22.75% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to Rs 18.2 crore, compared to Rs 23.56 crore in Q4 FY25, as per its latest stock exchange filing.
Revenue from operations also declined sharply by 20.88%, dropping to Rs 262.03 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 331.17 crore in the previous quarter. Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 264.77 crore, reflecting a 20.39% decline.
Total expenses for Q1 were reported at Rs 240.4 crore, down 20.37% from Rs 301.9 crore in Q4. The breakdown of expenses included Rs 233.3 crore for raw material consumption, Rs 10.01 crore on employee benefits, Rs 2.66 crore in finance costs, Rs 2.65 crore in depreciation and amortisation, and Rs 13.82 crore under other expenses.
Despite the weak quarterly financials, the company’s order book as of June 30 stood at approximately Rs 734 crore, marking a significant rise from Rs 468 crore a year earlier. The increase has been attributed to robust demand in power utilities/EPC projects, exports, and renewable energy sectors.
Ashish Mangal, Managing Director of Dynamic Cables, stated that strong domestic demand from both government and private sector projects, especially in power distribution and renewable energy, played a key role in driving the order book. He also noted that exports continued to contribute around 10% of the company’s revenue, despite global geopolitical challenges.
Mangal expressed confidence in the company’s future growth, supported by favorable policies, increased infrastructure investments, and a clear roadmap for execution. “With a robust order book, a clear growth roadmap, and a strong emphasis on execution, we are confident in our ability to maintain this momentum and create long-term value for all stakeholders”, he added.
Dynamic Cables manufactures a broad range of power infrastructure cables including low, medium, and high voltage, as well as control, instrumentation, and signalling cables.
