Daimler India Expands Network with New BharatBenz Dealership in Indore
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck, has partnered with PPS Trucking to open a new 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) BharatBenz dealership in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. This marks the 17th sales and service location in the state, with others spread across key cities like Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and more. The comprehensive 3S dealer network is complemented by additional 2S (Service and Spares) and 1S (Spares) facilities to cater to diverse customer needs.
Sreeram Venkateswaran, President, and CBO at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, highlighted the strategic importance of Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing the state's rich natural resources. He noted the potential for growth in the tipper business, especially in the mining sector. The dealership's focus on BharatBenz tippers aligns with the region's opportunities in road construction and infrastructure development.
The newly inaugurated 3S facility in Indore spans over 51,000 sqft and boasts 15 Mobile Service Vans (MRVs) and 49 service bays. This infrastructure is capable of servicing up to 24,000 vehicles annually, ensuring a seamless ownership experience for customers.
Rajiv Sanghvi, MD at PPS Trucking, expressed excitement about strengthening their network with BharatBenz in Madhya Pradesh. The collaboration aims to provide customers with a superior ownership experience, leveraging BharatBenz's Best-in-Class products and PPS Trucking's understanding of customer needs.
DICV's expansion plan in Madhya Pradesh not only focuses on network growth but also emphasizes educating dealer and service staff to meet customers' unique needs. This approach aligns with the company's nationwide initiative to skill 8,000 service technicians, ensuring quality service for over 6 lakh vehicles annually.
