Sajjan Jindal’s daughter Tanvi Jindal and the food services company Radhakrishna Group MD Raju Shete’s son Krishna Shete opted for an exotic wedding- having the nuptial knot at Florence, Italy in June 2010. Tanvi fell in love with Krishna and with Florence, while she was studying at New York University as she attended the global program of the university at Villa Le Pietra in Florence. Soon after completing the program the couple decided to come back there to get married to each other.

Though, it is also a merger of jindals, who worth US $2.7 billion, with the Radhakrishna Group, whose annual turnover a year is at 650 crore.

Their marriage was held at Villa Le Rose, a luxurious fifteenth century mansion in Florence, owned by the son of Fashion Moghul Salvatore Ferragamo. It was two decades ago that Leonardo and Beatrice Ferragamo bought the villa. They carried out a restoration project, where the villa was fitted with all the modern comforts while maintaining and enhancing its historical features.
