As it completes one year of impactful research, the Chintan Research Foundation (CRF), a leading think tank supported by the Adani Group, has outlined a bold vision focused on climate change, geopolitical challenges, and economic and trade research.
At an event in the national capital, Pranav Adani, Managing Director (Agro, Oil & Gas) and Director of Adani Enterprises, emphasized that think tanks like CRF are essential to India’s growth story. “Research foundations play a major role in understanding realities on the ground and guiding the nation’s future. We will continue to focus on evidence-based research in key areas”, he said in conversation with IANS.
He stressed that the energy transition is central to tackling climate change, and commended India’s strides in moving from fossil fuels to renewable energy. “We are on the right track as a country. The energy transition will yield very positive global results”, he noted.
Adani highlighted the need for equitable global partnerships, adding, “The world is seeking alternatives based on equity. It's time for voices long unheard to take centre stage. We must build that global footprint with confidence”.
CRF, which was conceptualized and developed by the Adani Group, will also focus on geopolitical dynamics, critical supply chains, and the future of trade relations. “It’s a think tank built to focus on the most pressing issues shaping the global and Indian economy”, Adani remarked.
He reiterated the importance of having robust, evidence-driven institutions like CRF to inform national policies and strategies. “We must imagine and re-imagine the role that India can play in shaping the future especially for the Global South”, he added.
CRF’s work aligns with India’s vision of becoming Viksit Bharat by 2047, contributing to global thought leadership through research on climate resilience, energy equity, trade, and geopolitics.
