Brigade Partners with Marriott to Launch 6 Hotels Nationwide
- Brigade signs deal with Marriott to add 6 hotels under 5 brands
- New hotels to open in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kerala, and other key markets
- Partnership expands Brigade’s portfolio to 8 Marriott hotels with 1,388 rooms
Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL), one of South India’s largest hotel owners, has signed a major agreement with Marriott International to develop six new hotels in four important Indian cities. This partnership will bring well known Marriott Bonvoy brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott to these locations.
Currently, Brigade owns about 500 rooms across India, and this deal will add 940 new rooms, increasing its total to 1,388 rooms across eight hotels. The expansion highlights the company’s confidence in India’s growing hospitality market and their commitment to providing high quality hotels for both business and leisure travelers.
Jaishankar, Executive Chairman of Brigade Enterprises, said, “We are excited to strengthen our long partnership with Marriott by adding six unique hotels to our portfolio. Each project reflects our belief in the long-term potential of Indian hospitality”.
Rajeev Menon, President of Marriott International for Asia Pacific (excluding China), added that these hotels will cater to a wide range of travelers and reflect Marriott’s trusted standards.

Some key upcoming hotels include the Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center, expected to open in FY27 with 45 rooms and modern facilities; Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru International Airport and Brigade Valencia, both set to open by FY28 with a combined 375 rooms; and The Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island in Kerala, a luxury villa retreat expected by FY29. JW Marriott Chennai OMR, with 250 rooms, is slated to open by FY30.
