BLive Launches EZY EV Rental Program to Support Last-Mile Delivery Partners
BLive, a prominent e-mobility platform, has announced the launch of its innovative BLive EZY EV Rental Program, tailored to support last-mile mobility partners by easing the financial transition to electric vehicles (EVs). The program addresses the key financial barriers faced by delivery riders, such as the need for a high CIBIL score for loan approvals.
The BLive EZY EV Rental Program offers competitive rates and flexible terms, with rentals starting as low as Rs 1,500 per week. This initiative makes EVs more accessible for delivery partners, enabling them to incorporate these vehicles into their operations smoothly and affordably. Major partners such as Zomato and Swiggy are among the first to benefit from this program.
According to a BLive survey, 77% of last-mile delivery riders encounter financial obstacles, including complex loan processes and high-interest rates, which hinder their ability to switch to EVs. The BLive EZY EV Rental Program directly addresses these challenges by introducing a 'Rent to Own' option, which allows delivery riders to become owners of their EVs after a rental period of 36 months. This feature promotes long-term sustainability and encourages the widespread adoption of eco-friendly transportation solutions.
BLive's program offers premium electric vehicles from reputable brands like TVS, Ather, Bounce, and Revolt under flexible renting terms. The rent-to-own model ensures that delivery agents can eventually own high-quality EVs, enhancing their operational efficiency and reducing their environmental footprint.
The BLive EZY EV Rental Program has already been rolled out in five cities: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Goa, with over 200 EVs deployed to support last-mile delivery riders. BLive has ambitious plans to deploy 10,000 EVs in the next 12 months and is actively seeking franchisee partners to join its mission to electrify last-mile mobility.
