Acer Ventures into e-Commerce Platform in India
Acer, a Taiwanese electronics company launches its online store "eStore", intending to strengthen its e-commerce platform in India. The eStore would feature and sell all the latest assortment of products. The product set for sale includes desktops, laptops, monitors, projectors and other accessories. These products are retailed at the company's brick-and-mortar stores.
Besides, the online store would also provide product specifications to help their customers in acquiring a better understanding of the products before making the purchase decision. The online store is the company's attempt to give an opportunity to the customers to get a detailed idea of the extended range of products and attractive offers provided to them by the firm.
In Addition, the company is also providing various deals and exclusive offers especially for the inaugural just for a limited period such as three-year warranty offer for accidental damage products for every purchase made on the online store. Alongside, customers could avail discounts up to 55 percent on selected Acer products.
"We witnessed that a lot of consumers these days are going online and there is strong potential in the online space, hence we decided to offer our customers digital shopping experience. This is the first time our fans can access and order all our latest products at their fingertips any time and have them shipped directly to their home," says Chandrahas Panigrahi, CMO and Consumer Business Head, Acer India.
