Bangalore: Newsweek’s Green Rankings look at the 500 largest global and U.S. companies and ranks them on three broad categories: environmental impact, environmental management, and environmental disclosure. Have a look at the top 10 greenest companies.

Santander Brasil
Banco Santander Brasil is a subsidiary of Banco Santander in Brazil, its largest division in Latin America and one of the world's most important, accounting for 50 percent of the total profit of the group. The bank was founded in 1982 in Sao Paulo, where its headquarters are located. Santander is the fifth largest commercial bank in Brazil by assets, after Itau Unibanco, Banco do Brasil, Bradesco and Caixa Econômica Federal. Wipro Limited (formerly Western India Products Limited) is an Indian multinational provider of Information technology (IT) services, consulting and outsourcing services. It is headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As of 2012, the company has over 130,000 employees and a worldwide presence with global centers across 54 countries. The company operates in four segments: IT products and services, Consumer care and lighting, Healthcare and Infrastructure engineering.
