HYDERABAD: Leading mobile sales force automation (mSFA) company WINIT on Tuesday launched its merchandising solution in India, specifically for FMCG and retail distribution companies.

The launch follows an overwhelming response to the solution in the Middle East. It has helped in increasing retail sales up to 20 pct, a company statement here said.

WINIT's merchandising solution is designed to improve the market work-discipline by usage of collaboration, GPS-based location intelligence and real-time reporting features.

Merchandising solutions manage three major output Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of merchandising -- out-of-stock management, on-shelf availability and share-of-shelf management and planogram compliance.

"Our merchandising solution gives our customers strategic advantages with the power of mobility and retail analytics. It simplifies the category management, improves promotion effectiveness and helps better market and competition intelligence; all in real time," said Prakash Sreewastav, CEO, WINIT.

"Such solutions with analytics can boost revenue growth up to 20 pct and profit up to 5 pct by better inventory management, out-of-stock reduction, and expiry and liquidation management," he added.

WINIT's merchandising solution has been adopted by companies like Colgate Palmolive and Bajaj Corp in India and Hershey's distributors in the Middle East.
