Venture Catalyst & IIT-D Alumni Collaborate to Create Future Generation of Investors


Enhancing its strong investor network PAN India, Venture Catalysts join hands with IIT Delhi Alumni Association to provide a holistic investor facilitation to institute's present & future investors. It’s no secret that IIT Delhi has contributed significantly to India's investment landscape, and same holds true for VCats, which underlines the need to provide a dedicated initiative to facilitate more investors emerging from the elite institution’s alumni body.

Through this partnership, investors from IIT Delhi, including exclusive investor education events, active participation in global start-up summits, entrepreneurship conclaves, & more will be offered a wide range of opportunities and benefits by VCats. Moreover, investors from the institute will also get an opportunity to interact with the best entrepreneurial minds across the country and facilitate them to be a part of the start-up journeys.

Commenting on the association, Atul Bal, President, IITDAA, says, "IIT Delhi Alumni Association has long been contemplating to build a model innovation and investment centre for its alumni members and IIT Delhi students. By signing this MoU with Venture Catalysts, the vision to develop an eco-system that reduces the gap between investors and start-ups stands realized. This Joint Initiative, GIAN (Global Innovation and Angel Network) is a culmination of that intellectual bargain, in its first year of inception, we plan to target the closure of at least 10 worthwhile deals with an aim to sensitize the community and build a network to generate employment opportunities through such scalable commercial ventures."
