He is also credited with being the founder of the companies Intellius and Moon Express. He was awarded the Albert Einstein Technology Medal for pioneers in technology and the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Red Herring Global 2011 Conference.

Guy Laliberte
Born in 1959 in Canada Guy Laliberte is an entrepreneur, poker player and a space tourist. He started out as a street performer, roaming the streets playing an accordion. He was also a stilt walker and fire- eater. He later joined a troupe of traveling performers. In 1984,he co-created Cirque du Soleil, Quebec’s first circus of international acclaim, with the support of a government grant. The venture became a resounding success when billionaire billionaire Steve Wynn brought Cirque to Las Vegas in 1991.The successful organization now has operations across 3 continents .Guy has a net worth of $2.6 billion and as per Forbes is ranked 464th  in its list of billionaires.
