Bangalore: While the Indian economy is struggling hard to find its place on the global front, Indian talent has been getting recognition in every part of the world. In fact, more number of Indian-origin executives are making a mark globally in many multinational companies.

For instance, software giant Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group is headed by an India born Satya Nadella, Indra Nooyi as Chairperson and CEO of PepsiCo and Vikram Pandit, ex-CEO of Citibank have proved themselves and made India proud at many different levels.

Padmasree Warrior is the Chief Technology & Strategy Officer (CTO) of Cisco Systems, and the former CTO at Motorola. She is responsible for aligning technology development and corporate strategy. Warrior also helps in directing the company in technological and operational innovation and oversees strategic and planned partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, starting a new business models, incubation of new technologies, and the cultivation of world-class technical talent.

Warrior was recognized as the Most Powerful Women by Fortune magazine and recognized as one of the highest paid and ‘young and powerful’ business women in India. In 2005, The Economic Times ranked Warrior as the 11th Most Influential Global Indian.
