Samsung Regain Top Place In Q1 Sales As Apple Drops To Second

There were seasonal and other factors which impacted the rise of Samsung to top. While Samsung is in business by releasing its latest flagship phones Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, Apple on the other side has lost its shine after the first holiday quarter.

In the fourth quarter Samsung and Apple were seen to be on equal pace by sharing 20 percent each of the market share.

Though the demand for iPhone 6 and 6Plus is soaring Apple has made comeback in the fourth quarter, making it equal with Samsung.

Prior to the release of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, most of the Samsung shipments and sales were focused on the mid-range and low-end smartphones which seems to have an evergreen market.

Samsung so has made its place safe for the first quarter as IDC reported; Samsung will look to capitalize the same gush till the end of the year.
