Ritesh Khullar Is Appointed As CCO of Foundation Medicine

Foundation Medicine has appointed oncology industry veteran Ritesh Khullar as the Chief Commercial Officer to lead product sales and operations efforts.

FREMONT, CA: A molecular information company dedicated to a transformation in cancer care Foundation Medicine has appointed Ritesh (Tesh) Khullar as its chief commercial officer, effective January 20, 2020. Earlier, he had worked for Flatiron Health, where he was leading and scaling provider service offerings. Khullar has excellent expertise in strategic commercialization to drive business growth, as well as experience accelerating market development because he has more than two decades of experience working in oncology.

Cindy Perettie, Chief Executive Officer commented that Khullar has great expertise in customer engagement and operational excellence. So under his leadership Foundation Medicine will facilitate continued advancement of patient access to precision medicine through comprehensive genomic profiling.

Khullar is excited to join Foundation Medicine, and he mentioned that there his relationships with the provider network, particularly in community oncology practices, can bring new insights to the process of navigating the cancer care continuum as they work together to advance our patient-centric solutions for physicians and patients.

When Khullar was working for Flatiron Health, he was into growing the team across the commercial division, with sales, professional services, customer success, and product operations of the company.

Before joining Flatiron Health, Khullar had served McKesson Specialty Health as the national vice president and general manager of sales and account management. He also managed formation of two oncology group purchasing organizations named National Oncology Alliance and Onmark, at Oncology Therapeutics Network (OTN)

Khullar pursued a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in computer science and engineering, political science, and law and society from the University of California, San Diego.
