This would help in bringing down the long waiting period on these models.  Maruti is reviewing the market demand for diesel vehicles produced in Gurgaon. The company is in touch with concerned vendors to increase production.

Shares of Maruti Suzuki India fell by about 3 percent following 22.84 percent drop in its net profit for the first quarter ended June 30.

Making a weak opening, the stock of the country's largest carmaker slipped 2.55 percent to Rs 1,082.30 on the BSE.
