Outten & Golden names Adam T. Klein as New Managing Partner

A national employee-side law firm with four offices across the U.S, Outten & Golden LLP declared various changes, most important, appointed Adam T. Klein as its Managing Partner and Laurence S. Moy as Deputy Managing Partner & hiring Sloane Levy as the Chief Operating Officer. These changes are part of its ‘O&G 2.0’ succession plan. On his appointment as Managing Partner, Klein says, “It's an exciting time to be part of this organization and its ongoing evolution. While we are grateful for the accolades and recognition we have received, we are prouder still of the team we have assembled and the results we deliver for our clients. I have learned tremendously from Wayne Outten and am committed to building on his accomplishments and further growing the firm, while maintaining a steadfast focus on client service, our firm's mission-based approach, and our inclusive and collaborative culture,"

Adam T. Klein took over the position from Wayne N. Outten, the founder of the firm in 1998 with Anne Golden. Outten will continue practicing law. "Adam's elevation is part of an orderly transition that we have been planning for some time. It has been my great pleasure and privilege to lead this firm during its first 20 years. We all have the utmost faith and confidence in Adam as he leads us into the next two decades." speaks Outten.

Adam founded the Class & Collective Action practice group  and focuses his practices on prosecuting employment discrimination and wage-and-hour claims in the numerous areas.  He Joined Q & G in 2000 and ever since, has obtained substantial recoveries in class & collectives actions against the Census Bureau, Smith Barney, Bank of America/ Merill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, MetLife, IBM and other national employees. Apart from this, Klein is  a member of Hall of Fame, and Lawdragon named him one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in the U.S and recently selected hima dn 16 other Outten & Golden attorneys to its inaugural list of 500 leading Plaintiff Employment Lawyers. Adam led the litigation team that won the 2017 Public Justice- Trial Lawyer of the Year Award in the landmark Census racial justice litigation & settlement. 

Lawrence S. Moy, Co-Chair of Outten & Golden’s financial services practice group, who had joined O & G in 2004, took over as the Deputy Managing Partner. Moy advises a broad range of client with respect to discrimination, contractual &” compensation issues, particularly in the financial services industry & helps executive and other negotiable severance agreements & employment agreements. And also , he is a fellow member if  College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.

Alongside, O&G succession plan involves the establishment of a management committee in May 2018 and hiring Sloane Levy, a lawyer & businessperson, as its first-ever Chief Operating Officer in July 2019.
