McDonald’s started back in 1940 as a barbeque restaurant by two brothers, Richard and Maurice McDonald in California. Fact #1: No beef no pork             

The world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurant, McDonald’s entered Indian market in 1996. The very first McDonald’s restaurant was opened in New Delhi at Basant Lok on 13 October and was the world’s first McDonald’s restaurant to not serve products that contain beef and pork. India is the only country in the world where there is no beef and pork in any of the McDonald’s products, in any of their outlets across the country.
