India's 10 Best IT Companies In 2013


Bangalore: India is not only facing crisis with the value of rupee depreciating, but it is also facing problems of highest unemployment rate.

For a decade or so, many IT companies across the world have recognized India as the IT hub. India is home to around 158 large global companies having revenue of over $ 1billion, making the country one of the most favoured destinations for setting up of multinational corporations, reports PTI. This scenario has helped in creating job opportunities, which in turn contributes roughly 7.5 percent to the country’s GDP.

Here is a list of top 10 Indian IT companies compiled by mbaskool.com. The list is based on the current revenue and on profit and loss of the company.

1.  TCS
Revenue: 48426.14 Cr

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was founded in 1968 as a division of Tata Sons by J R D Tata. TCS is one of the largest provider of information technology (IT) services, business solutions and consulting company headquartered in Mumbai. Currently, TCS has about 2,76,000 employees across the globe. It is the largest Indian company in terms of market capitalization and is the largest India-based IT services company in 2013.
