Halton Group Acquired U.S based LCSystems, an Indoor Air Equipment Manufacturer

Halton Group, an international indoor air company successfully acquired the business activities and product design rights of Kentucky based LCSystems, supplying and exhaust air equipments for professional kitchens. The acquisition makes the company a part of Halton’s current food service business which delivers professional kitchen indoor air solutions to some 6,000 locations around the world. The acquisition was completed on 30th June, 2018 and worth slightly below $4 million.

Georges Gaspar, Director, Halton Group, says, “The acquisition of LCSystems supports our chosen strategy and accelerates the entry of our comprehensive solutions into the North American market, where we will continue to aim at significant growth as the industry-leading technology supplier.”

The acquisition is preceded by a long history between the two companies that has worked within the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc.) network in the 1990s. Also, in the recent years, Halton has been working to widen its range of professional kitchen products from hood solutions to comprehensive air handling systems.

Steve Brown, Founder, LCSystems, says, “I have known Halton for over 20 years and seen that our approach to product innovation, quality and customer relationship management is similar. This experience has convinced me that LCSystems’ customers will continue to receive high-quality service from Halton.”

Founded in Finland in 1969, Halton Group develops and provides solutions for commercial and public premises, healthcare institutions and laboratories, professional kitchens and restaurants as well as energy production environments. It employs nearly 1500 people in over 30 countries and has production units in ten and R&D units in eight countries.
